HAVE YOU HEARD?

It's starting SOON! Faith Kids Club! This awesome program is coming to you live every Wednesday night with the big kick-off September 5th! Not only do you get to play crazy, awesome games, you get so much cool stuff that's going to help you learn some fun verses right out of your brand new (metal) Bible! We're also going to show you how to make these verses make sense in YOUR world!

PLUS... your book is going to be chock full of awesome puzzles and games, there's going to be drama and music... what's not to love?

So, Faith Kids, if you haven't already, you HAVE TO sign up for this awesome program! Pastor Adam is hard at work thinking up everything COOL and FUN to include, and we can't wait to get started! So go tell your parents you HAVE to sign up!! And then make sure to show up at the school on September 5th! We'll be waiting for you with all this cool gear plus your awesome Bible!

More VBS fun! Today was HOT HOT HOT, but we managed to keep cool!

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, our awesome staff of volunteers (not all pictured) prepared hoagies for the crew. (Sheree, don't go stealing my camera, now!) :)

After the opening skit, the kids all venture to different rooms where they hear the Bible story for the day, play games (outside) or learn memory verses via's Rachel's guitar. It's all working pretty well!

But the real fun... well, that's outside... where we get the kids soakin' wet!

Even Pastor Adam got in on this one...

This Friday is our big wrap party! Tell all your friends! You don't have to come to VBS to come to the wrap party! Free food - lots of fun!

Vacation Bible School!!!

...and so it begins! A whole lotta FUN!

We're having a blast!

SOOO much going on!!

It starts this week, Faith Kids! Vacation Bible School, and we are working round the clock to make this year the very best VBS ever! We've got drama, games, brand new praise and worship, some awesome new memory verse songs, and of course... tons of water! Yep. Plan to get soaking, soppin' wet!

Vacation Bible School is going to end on Friday next week, and that night, we've got a big party planned to let your parents know what you learned all week as well as a kids praise night that all of your friends are invited to! You don't have to go to VBS to come out Friday night, so be sure to grab some friends and show up at the church! We're going to have a blast!

Also... Summer Fun is happening every Wednesday night... if you're not coming, you are missing out! Just look at all the FUN going on:

So yeah. That is a TON of fun! All Faith Kids are welcome to attend, so come on out to the school Wednesday nights for lots of games and praise and worship and an all around good time! *Special thanks to Haide Shableau for these awesome pictures!

Faith Kids, you ROCK!

I just got the totals from Pastor Adam, and guess how much you've raised so far for Mamelodi? $1093.37!!!!

We are sooo excited and our missionary, Christy Miller is SOOO grateful to you guys for all the hard work. The lemonade stands. The bake sales. the garage sales. We are sooo excited to see what comes in for the missions' trip this week! It's the last week to bring money in, so make sure you remember! 

In other news, Faith Kids Yellow is alive and well! If you don't have it, you are missing out! Oh, and have you found the secret track yet??

:) We can't wait to see you SUNDAY! And don't forget NEXT WEDNESDAY is the Summer Kick-off at the school! We'll see you there!!

This Sunday!!!

This Sunday is a big day at Faith Kids!! We're hitting the big stage! We have been working hard to finish everything and get ready for this very important service where the kids have a chance to SHINE!

This week, the Faith Kids Praise Team is going to do all the music for praise and worship. We're going to release Faith Kids YELLOW:

And it is already AMAZING!! You kids (and probably a lot of you parents) are going to love this! Once you have it, we want to know which songs are your favorites... and we might even tell you which ones are our favorites too! :)

Also, we've been working hard with almost 40 kids to put together an awesome praise dance that is going to be incredible. It's already so annointed - we're pretty sure it's going to be extremely memorable!

So get ready for this weekend! And if you were thinking of sleeping in, think again! You don't want to miss this!

Lots going on at Faith Kids in the month of May... we're actually buckling our seatbelts as I write this, preparing to tackle all that's coming!

First off, I have to announce our Top Salespeople for the Gold Canyon Candle sales!

Runner up for most candles sold: Alexia Byrd

Top Salespeople: Tamya Vaultonburg and Dakita Reed

All told, you guys sold $1769 total sales and our profit was $658.18! That's pretty awesome, you guys!! Our Top Sellers will receive prizes this weekend at Faith Kids! 

In other news...

This week is the first week to bring back your envelopes for the Mamelodi Missionary project. Here's where we're at:

We've almost raised $400 already! So, empty your piggy banks, sell some lemonade, scour the couch cushions and bring your envelopes this week! This is going to be awesome! For those of you who don't know, we are raising money to support a missionary by the name of Christy Miller. You can find out more about Christy and the trip here:

Sunday, May 20th, Faith Kids is going to start off in the main service! We are heading down to the sanctuary to take over the praise and worship, do a praise dance and lots, lots more! That is the scheduled release date for the brand new CD:

This CD is going to be AWESOME!! With a whole CD full of your favorite Faith Kids Memory Verses, it's a must have!! So, get ready for that! Also, we are doing another DANCE!! So, this Sunday we'll have a sign-up for that. We won't have much time, so we're going to crank it out!

It's going to be awesome! Tell your friends! Tell your family! Get ready for all this amazing Faith Kids stuff coming up in the month of May... and then.... it's time for SUMMER!!

Hey Faith Kids!!

This Sunday, we are doing something incredibly cool…We are doing some recording for the Faith Kids Album, Faith Kids YELLOW!!

I knew I wanted you guys and gals on the album, so I’ve picked out some of the songs that we can have you sing on, much like we did the last album, Faith Kids RED.

So, get your voices ready, ‘cause we’re going to do some singing!! The street date for the CD is May 20^th, and that is also the service that the Faith Kids are taking over! We did it last year, and we’re doing it again. We’re going to have our praise team, have a kid’s choir and a kid’s dance again, and it is going to be BANANAS!

Also, your GOLD CANYON FUNDRAISER SHEETS are due this Sunday, so get ‘em in! We’re using the money to redo the Activity Center, so sell those candles and get the order forms into us by Sunday!

I can’t wait for this Sunday; I know it’s going to be an awesome time with all you guys!

egg-time!

Well, folks, it's supposed to be cold this weekend. BUT we've got eggs to hunt! The show must go on, so no matter what, we're going to be out hunting eggs, playing TONS of awesome games (you should SEE what Pastor Adam is getting for Eggstravaganza! Maybe he'll let me tell you later this week... I'll try to twist his arm!)

So what CAN you expect from this big weekend? Hmmmm....

LOTS of fun, for starters! Games, games and more games. Prizes in your Easter eggs... not to mention the awesome stuff we're raffling off (can you say BIKES? XBOX? IPOD? What about an adorable little blue eyed puppy?? Yeah, better ask your parents before you put your ticket in that one!) :)

We are so excited for this weekend! We can't wait!
